Field Trips

Tree City Homeschool members enjoy field trips year round! We've enjoyed Marengo Cave (shown here), Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, Seimer Milling, TNT Exotics, and many more!

We typically receive group discount rates, so participation is important! Be sure to check the calendar often to see what new Field Trips have been added. It's easy to sign up and pay ahead online with our new website. The date, time, location and field trip policies will be included with every event.

We welcome Field Trip suggestions! Just email us at [email protected]

Moms' Nights

These nights are intended for Moms (newborns welcome) and is a great way to meet other moms in our group. We enjoy fellowship and the opportunity to talk, hang out and remind each other that we aren't alone on this journey.

We have a variety of themed events throughout the year and meet at various locations during the year. Come join us! Whether you can make it to one event or all, we'd love to have you.

If you'd like to host a Mom's Night Out, feel free to reach out to our Coordinator.

4H

Our kids love participating in 4H, so we created a fun 4H group with our homeschool friends!

Drama Club

The Dramatizers performed their very first productions of "Mother Goose Has Talent" & "Hansel and Gretel" in April.

Special Events

In November 2020, children participated in a mock election. The kids learned about past presidents and the current presidential candidates. We also had a special guest, Mayor Joshua Marsh, join us and speak to the kids about his job and how he helps our community.

Other special events included an ice cream social, a homeschooling seminar, and a pig dissection.

Summer Fun

When kids are out of school, it's a great opportunity to foster friendships and fun during the summer!

Classes

Many of our members enjoy participating in weekly co-op classes. Students are enriched by a variety of engaging, hands-on activities designed to support and enhance
at-home learning.

Our end of the year closing program is a fun way to celebrate and reward our students and teachers for the work they've accomplished. It's also a great opportunity for other family members to come and see what your children have been doing and see how much fun homeschooling can be!
